Lady Gaga Friday

Yesterday was my friend, Chelsey's birthday. To celebrate, she put together a "Lady Gaga" party at her house and then we left at 9:30 pm and drove to Trussville for bowling. The whole theme fit Chelsey's personality to a tee. I can't think of a better idea for a Chelsey party. The girls invited were to dress up like Gaga in weird and unusual clothing. I went shopping with her a few days ago and got some pieces, but then I found a few at my house that I mixed in with the new ones. I think my outfit turned out pretty cute. Check it out:

the back of my dress was cut out like this

The front was kinda like this with long sleeves

I wore a neon yellow tutu over the bottom of the dress(I had to wear some of my vb spandex under it too)
my favorite piece:black leggings with tons of rips and holes in them. The ones I wore had way more than these.

I wore a black and white striped tank under the dress so you could see it in the back.

my blue converses

my eye makup looked similar to this but with a touch of lime green eye shadow and more eyeliner and bigger eyelashes.
I used this mascara. It's my new favorite. It's called falsies. It makes my eye lashes so long and filled in.

Bright pink lipstick

Silver and neon bangles
I also had my engagement ring on, of course. It totally brought the whole outfit together. :)

So I may or may not have gotten excited hours before I was supposed to go to her house to get ready and went ahead and curled all of my hair(I have about 3 peoples' worth of hair, so it took about an hour and 1/2) and did attempted my makeup. I arrived at her house early so I could help her get ready and so she could fix my eye makeup. I am not very talented in the makeup area. lol When I walked into her house everything was decorated Lady Gagaish. I wish I would have taken my camera. I'm always the one without it. The walls were covered with outfits resembling things you would have seen Lady Gaga in and there were snacks and a cake and pizza. As we finished getting ready the other girls started showing up. I was impressed with each of them. This was out of almost all of our comfort zones, but I think we all handled it pretty well considering we had to go in PUBLIC like this. lol All was good the moment we stepped foot into the bowling alley. The first person we saw said, " You girls have the Lady Gaga look going". We all were embarrassed, yet relieved. At least we didn't just look like we were dressed like that for no reason. Everyone clearly understood we were having a Lady Gaga night. We didn't get a single weird look got weird looks all night, but it was overall really funny and we all had a great time. Not to brag or anything, but I kicked butt at bowling. :) I probably should have let the birthday girl win...I love her and all, but I would have had to sit the ball into the gutter every time in order for that to happen. lol
On the way down, we blasted some Britney and Taylor. Of course being girls we knew every word to every song. All we were missing was some Spice Girls. haha We took TONS of pictures, but I have zero. When Chelsey  emails them to me, I'll try to be brave and share a few with you. I do have a few from when I was getting ready.

Curled Hair
Drew posing for a pic. He helped me get ready :)
Today is just gonna be another lazy day. I only have today and tomorrow to rest up before volleyball starts!

Volleyball is Coming

So far this week has consisted of long days at the college gym either teaching high school girls how to play volleyball or reffing games. As I have mentioned before that gym is HOT during this time of year so it has drained all of my energy. Luckily those were the last camps/playdates I have to work. Now I have a few days to hydrate and rest because Monday is D-day the start of my last college volleyball season. It's going to be a 4...yes FOUR hour practice/workout. We are starting the insanity workout program. I can already feel my legs burning & having to drive home in my soaking wet clothes. ICK. I am ready to get started though. Part of me wants it to be over so I can start focusing on the weddingmoon trip and our apartment and everything else related to moving to bham, but the other part of me knows that this is my last volleyball season so I should take in every moment of it and not let it all slip by me in a flash. Hopefully it will go by fast but be a great experience that I will always remember. So to get ready for my last season I need to start tanning again...spandex and paleness are not a pretty combination. I am SOOO pale and it makes me feel u.g.l.y.

The rest of the week will be pretty fun. Friday I have plans to meet one of my bffs from high school for lunch and a quick shopping trip. We are going to be looking for a Lady Gaga-themed outfit. One of my other friends from high school is having a bday party and she picked Lady Gaga as her theme...If we find some cool outfits I might post a pic, but it doesn't look promising. All I can think of when I think of Lady Gaga is leotards, white hair with chopped off bangs, and scary makeup...but we will see what we can come up with.
Saturday and Sunday will probably be lazy days so I can conserve all of my energy for Monday. So expect some new posts with lots of pics, cuz my posts have been pic-less lately and to me that is boring. I just haven't had anything going on to take pics of. lol Once we start planning everything for our trip and moving the posts should be way more interesting.

I hope you all are having a good week. It's almost the weekend. :D

I HATE volleyball =[

" Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two." St. Augustine

So today started out very good, Heather had camp from 845-1 and I was going to play golf with my dad =]. So she left out and i had to take emma (heather's little step sister) to grans. I was already late for tee-time, and then i realized my clubs were in heathers car =[. So i had to take a detour to the college to get them out of her car. Finally i get to the course on time thankfully due to excessive speeding! lol I played an awesome round on the front 9 and then i checked my phone and discovered a text that said she was going to have to work till 4. So not only was i sad bc i couldnt text her while she was gone, now i have to wait even longer to see my babe. I finished around 12 and came home and did some computer work for patrick (heathers dad). Heather got to text me for a little bit =] but she told me that all the matches were about an hour behind which means she wont be home for even longer. Im so pathetic. I cant stand being apart. I feel sick lol. I think its that i cant make sure shes safe from everything. Anywayss i thought i should explain why i hate hate hate hate hate hate volleyball. She should be home any minute now so i dont want her to know i was posting a blog or she'll think im sweet lol

Weekend Recap

Our weekend:

Friday: I got some much needed sleep Friday morning. I didn't get out of bed until about 11. It was nice. :) While I was snoozing Drew was a good boy and hit the gym. When he got home we fixed breakfast and then we were pretty much lazy all day. My younger sis and I stayed at my Aunt's for the night. I love going there. They are really laid back and easy to be around. We stuffed our faces with yummy food and I had enough Dr. P to last for a month. We don't have it at my dad's house, so I have to take advantage of it over at her house. We were sitting on her porch, talking and laughing and we hear a gunshot. It sounded REALLY close to where we were. It scared us, but we just kept talking. A few minutes later, we see blue and red flashing lights down the street...then two state troopers fly by her house, then the sheriff, then THREE more cops. SOMETHING was going on down the road. My sister is wanting to go into the investigation kind of field when she graduates so we had to hold her down to keep her from going and getting involved. I still haven't heard anything about what happened..I just hope no one got hurt. :/

Saturday: We woke up around 9ish and both wanted to head home and get some things done. We drove through Jacks for breakfast on our way home. Gotta love the buttery artery-clogging biscuits. She drove to her house (she lives with my mom) so I could pick up my car and head to my house. When I got home I suddenly got the urge to clean and rearrange my room...so that's what Drew and I did. This may sound weird, but ever since I moved my furniture the last time and my bed was facing a different way, I have not slept as good. It may be it in my head, but after we moved it back to the way it was before, I slept SOOO good last night. Call me crazy, but whatev. lol He painted my stepsister's old dresser that I am using until I move out. It was a not so pretty cream color. Now it is my fav color, black. :) We removed the light pink knobs and put pretty ones that we bought a while back from TJ-max. (I don't know if I have mentioned it, but I LOVE the home section there. They have awesome stuff sometimes.) Look how good it looks. :) I shoulda taken a before pic, but I didn't even think about it.

So after we had finished cleaning up everything, we heard tons of sirens going off. We look out my window and fire trucks, police, and ambulances are pulling into our street. Naturally
everyone in the neighborhood came out of their houses to see what the heck was going on. It turns out it was the house of a couple going through a divorce and the house had been for sale for a while and was about to be foreclosed on....can you say arson??

Sunday:We woke up pretty late and fixed breakfast and then I caught up on some blog reading. We got paid today, so Drew wanted to go to GNC and get his workout stuff. While I was in the car waiting (I did not get dressed to go in, so I just dropped him off at the mall entrance) my dad calls me and says he is running my stepmother to the emergency room. They are STILL there. Haven't heard anything. We came home from the mall and ate lunch. I don't know if I was just REALLY hungry or what but my turkey/tomato/low-sodium bacon/shredded cheese/spicy mustard sandwich on the little round wheat bread was SOOO good...so then after reading blogs some more, I did my 30 minutes of cardio and ab workout and then fixed a salad with chicken and zesty Italian dressing.

Tomorrow I have camp again. I have to teach the little kiddies how to set. I'm only dreading it because the college gym is SOO hot and it drains every ounce of energy I have to be there all day. We plan on going to sleep early tonight so we can start off the week with a good night's sleep and then hit the gym early in the morning before I go to work the camp. We didn't exactly eat healthy this weekend, but now we are determined to get back in line and get in shape. I was informed we will be doing the Insanity video workouts for volleyball this year. I am so not ready for those 3-4 hour practices/workouts starting in about ummm...about a week.

I hope everyone has a fab week!

Registering For Fall '10

Class registration is today in about 10 minutes. It is only for those who have taken and passed 24 hours. Seeing as how somehow I've taken 36 already, I get to register early! I thought I'd try to make those 10 minutes go by faster by writing a post. Call me a nerd, but I get really excited about registering for classes. Maybe it's because I get to make my own schedule, and somehow I have been lucky every semester of college so far and gotten really great classes at good times of the day. If it works out I will have all ONLINE classes this fall. I cannot express how pumped I am about this. I absolutely hate getting up and going to class and seeing everyone I went to high school with. I'll get to sleep in (which will be WONDERFUL on those mornings after those long volleyball trips where we don't get home till midnight.) I won't have to be anywhere until 3:30 for practice. I'm gonna get so spoiled. I don't care though, it's going to be awesome. :)

EDIT* I got into all the online classes :D

TV & Fall

The past two days have been loooong and draining. I had to work my last camps for volleyball. The gym feels exactly like it does outside-90 something degrees. UUGH. When I got home from standing, coaching, and playing in the "sauna" Drew wanted to go hit ranch balls at his dad's driving ranch. Not to brag or anything, but I did pretty dang AWESOME. hehe After this last volleyball we plan on getting serious with our golf. He is just now teaching me how to play, but we are going to enter couple tournaments and everything. I have to get really good so we can play where ever we go on our weddingmoon too. So anyway, now that camp is over I can relax and get ready to watch the new season of Teenage Mom tonight! :D Can't wait to see what happens this season. The commercials look really drama-packed and interesting. I've also been promised a foot massage since I've been on them nonstop the past few days. :) Bachelorette only has one more week and then Ali will pick her man! Drew and I want Chris to win, but from the little bit I've seen off of magazine headlines and other blogs it looks like Roberto wins. :/ He doesn't seem like a bad guy, he just doesn't appear as real and sincere as Chris.

I need to be getting my online summer class work done instead of blogging, but I couldn't resist posting so I'll get to my work after. Registration for fall is Friday! I'm actually looking forward to this fall...because:

-my last volleyball season & I'm very excited about the talent we have on this year's team.

-my birthday. :P

-Thanksgiving. I can't wait to stuff my face with yummy home cooked food. mmmmmhhmmm

-It will be getting closer and closer to our wedding :)

-I'll have one more semester of school left until I transfer to a grown up school instead of being at a 13th and 14th grade school ( thats what people around here call it..the classes are so much like highschool classes)

-cooler weather

-jeans, jeans, and more cute jeans.

-I will only hopefully have all online classes. (yay for sleeping late!)

I hope everyone is having a good week! Later!

Bored miss my love poem =]

My HeatherAshlynCash,
As you know..
you are my future wife,
the love of my life,
you are my best friend,
my beginning and my end,
you are my second chance,
my last romance,
you are my 1st place trophy,
the one who knows me,
and we belong together,
like salt and sea.
When im without you,
im not me,
there is no more "life",
no reason to breathe.
I'd be like a car,
without a steering wheel.
Even if you did it all wrong,
i would love you still..
until the end of time,
I cannot wait to call you mine.
My future HeatherAshlynJones.

Christmas in July

My volleyball team met today to get all of our new stuff for this season and then we went and ate at el tap. I love all of the things we got today. We got: 2 warm ups(red underarmour one, black nike one), 2 pairs of spandex, 3 really cool tshirts (we have to wear them to practice and when we travel), a long-sleeved tshirt, new shoes, a comfy sweatshirt, another pair of warm up shorts (i wear last years ALL the time), and my absolute favorite thing was got was a Mizuno duffle bag. It's big and has lots of compartments to put stuff...last years bag was way too small. I'm so excited about this season. The new team looks like we are gonna get along GREAT. I can't wait to make tons of new memories with all the awesome girls on my team. We start camps tomorrow...it only gets busier from here on out...oh and we also got to pick out our jerseys today. I decided to be number 11 this year. With this being said...they are all smalls...which is GREAT motivation to get to the gym. As long as I have energy I'm going to be going to the gym during season. I am going in the morning before I work camp so I probably should get to bed. I was just excited about all the stuff we got and can't wait for the season to start. It's my last one EVER. Unless by some miracle I get to play at UAB...doubt that will happen. Hope everyone has a good week! Mine will be a busy busy one.

I Feel Like Crap...

...& I should. I have cheated so badly on my diet. I'm back on it starting now though. I do not want to gain any weight back. I also didn't sleep AT ALL last night. I slept for about an hour total this morning. I cannot run on an hour of sleep. :/ I stayed at my moms last night and just couldn't fall asleep...and neither could my lil sis, so at 5something we got in my car and went to Jacks. I regret that cuz I feel so fat now. All I want to do is sleep. I have a doc appointment at 2, so that isn't looking like an option till after then...but I plan on going to bed EARLY and sleeping like a baby all night long. :) The only good thing that came from staying up last night was I found out that one of my favorite shows starts again Tuesday night! wooo!!! (Teenage Mom) I love those girls. I feel like I know them since I've watched the show so much. The new season looks so interesting. I'm excited. I'm gonna get my ricecakes and Drew and we are gonna watch every single episode this season. (hehe love you baby)

New Plates

Here are some new plates we bought! We also got bowls and desert plates with coffee cups...I'm not sure if I want these or plain white ones. We registered for white, so if we get them, we can decide then and do something else with ones we don't want.

Chicfila is Good For the Soul

...esp when you have been on a diet..but we will get to this in a minute...

I was so surprised when I logged in expecting to see an "ABCs of Andrew" post...instead there was a sweet post from my future hubby. :) Now you can see why I love him ohsomuch. He is definitely one of those few guys who actually means what he says and shows me that he cares. I can tell he loves me and will always treat me this way. :) I'm so excited about him being my partner in life. :D

Today started a little late for me. Drew woke me up around 11:40. I took some Tylenol PM last night and I slept like a baby. As soon as I woke up I received a text from my aunt asking us to meet her for lunch at Chicfila...and yes, we went. I threw on clothes and went feeling like I looked like complete trash.. It was the first time we cheated on our diet...and it felt GOOD. I went all out and had nuggets, fries, AND an ice cream cone and I can't forget the GLOBS of ketchup on each bite. Yummy to my tummy. :) It was SO busy when we got there. They really need to open another stand alone chicfila somewhere in town..but anyway, I ended up sitting at a table right in the front, which I normally HATE..but I was still half asleep and drowsy from the medicine, so I didn't care as long as I got to eat. I felt like I was in some sort of weird trance or something...I could HEAR everyone, but I didn't care that there were people around me. I don't know if anyone was staring in disgust or not. Drew got our food and we all sat and ate and talked about a lot of stuff. I left feeling completely satisfied and I didn't even care that my hair was so greasy it looked wet or that I still had on last night's makeup. I needed a good full meal and I got it...now its back to our diet. I had eggs whites with a little cheese and salsa for dinner. It was actually good really good. We were supposed to do an hour of cardio today, but neither one of us could make ourselves do it, so we promised to make each other do it tomorrow after we work out with our trainer. I get to spend a lovely hour with my friend miss eliptical on an high endurance level while he gets to walk at a slow pace on the treadmill. Men SUCK.
I think we have our budget somewhat planned out. We have money in all of our accounts which makes me happy...means we are getting somewhere. finally. My main two concerns are saving for an apartment at Springs at Greystone...I have fallen in love with them. (see pic below) We haven't decided whether we should get a studio or one bedroom..of course whichever we chose will only be temporary seeing as we want a few kids someday. I hope to go for a tour sometime after the new year. Then we can hold what will be our first HOME! :) I cannot wait to have our own kitchen where we will cook meals together and have our cool kitchen gadgets. FUN STUFF!!! We have already made our registries. We had fun picking out all the stuff to put in our kitchen. Here are some of my favorites we are asking for:

KitchenAid stand mixer. I LOVE the color.

Salad spinners! We eat salad ALOT..these will def get used.

WAFFLE MAKERS. Can you say "sweet husband bringing wife breakfast in bed?" :D (We also are getting serving trays..hehe)

The second thing I want to save for is the most COMFY couch...EVER. We went in Pottery Barn a few weeks ago and sat down in an L-shaped tan couch and I WANT NEED it. I can see us snuggling up together every night and watching tv or a movie and I can see our little baby being tucked in the corner surrounded by pillows so that he/she can't roll off while I take countless pictures. Oh, we just NEED that couch & we WILL have it. Somehow.

Well, I'm going to catch up on The Secret Life and Make It or Break It. Two shows I LOVE, but can no longer watch at home because we don't get ABC family. :/ Total bummer. Love that channel...so now I'm going to watch them on the laptop. :) Byyye!

"Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own." - Robert Heinlein

So I know I don't do this much, but it's because I try to stay busy and I'm not a big computer fan. Haha. When I do I want to leave such an impact that it doesn't matter how much I do it, I want it to show how much I actually care. You see I love my heather with all that I am or ever will be. I don't deserve someone as amazing as her. I should have more patience with her. I should show her my love more often. I should make life so easy for her that she practically only has to wake up and breathe everyday. That's all i ask of her. That and for her to always love me. That's my heart's deepest desire. I tricked her into thinking I was posting an ABC's blog while she was in the shower. I like to suprise her. We are on the strict diet right now that makes me kind of moody, but I appreciate how it makes me feel health wise. I swear Heather gets sexier everyday she works out =]. May'be its just me lol. Uh Oh she just came out and she is mad because she thinks I'm doing the ABC still. Im not that self centered ;) but anyway I think I am going to choose a quote for every post. I chose today's quote "Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own." by Robert Heinlein because I feel like it describes the way I feel about our relationship. I will do anything to make her happy and I always will. Her happiness is more important than my own life. Some may think that's a bit drastic but what's love if you're not giving it every bit of your heart and soul. Being with someone. WHOOOhoo thats boring. Loving someone. That's different. Everything you do, every move you make causes an impact on that person. I love the feeling that my life, my actions, my passion..is important. I can't wait to take your hand Heather Ashlyn Cash, just like you've taken my heart.
-Andrew

Weekend&ToDoList

This was a very relaxing weekend. We didn't really do anything besides our hour of cardio on Saturday. We stuck to our diet (I am proud :) ) and have just been relaxing. I caught up on some blog reading and hug with my sis a little and he has been caught up in a golf video game. That boy loves golf. Tonight we have a movie date. I haven't ever seen Kingdom of Heaven and so we are going to fix that tonight. I'm looking forward to it because we haven't spent much time together lately. We have been "together" like in the same room, but we have been doing our own things and I miss my cuddle buddy. :)

Jamaica :D

We have a big to do list from now until we get married. I know that is a long time...(11 months), but time flies by and especially with my last volleyball season coming up and then Christmas..it will only leave about 5 months to get most of the stuff done. Here is what we are gonna have to do:

-order our passports

-finalize our registries (fun!)

-talk to our travel agent and book our trip and flight tickets

-find a place to live in Bham

-find jobs in Bham

-enroll at UAB

-make sure we have everything we need for our own place

-order our cake topper

-finalize wedding ceremony details with the wedding planner

-SAVE MONEY

-make our Christmas lists

-get everyones' Christmas gifts

-find new docs in Bham

-order wedding reception invites

-order thank you cards

I'm sure there are tons more things I'm forgetting, but those are the things that are sticking out to me right now. This upcoming year is going to be a busy busy one, but I'm soooo excited. Everyday Andrew and I talk about how we are looking forward to having our own place and our own stuff. I know it's going to be a little tough money wise for a while, but we can make it work. I have faith in us!

New Diet & Random Stuff

so....today started our new diet...well it started after we got everything we needed from publix...
We ate apple cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast, which was very yummy, but it turns out that we aren't allowed to eat the apple cinnamon kind. :( Then we had our freaking hard leg workout. OMG my legs have never hurt this bad. We left the gym drenched in sweat and with our new diets in hand. We are supposed to drink a protein shake 15-45 minutes after our workout, so we headed home and did that. My protein shake tastes so good it's like a milk shake, so I have no problem drinking those. :) We made a list and ran to Publix in Home wood and by the time we got home it was already 5pm...so we had missed our morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack...so dinner was left. Drew grilled us some Tilapia and I fixed our salads. I looooove the zesty Italian dressing. I used to eat it until I got on a ranch kick..Drew mixed his 2 tbsp of ranch with some moores hot sauce. He loved it, so we have found our dressings for our chicken-less salad...I will have to eat ranch with my chicken salads. The rest of our diet doesn't look bad at all. We get to eat 5-6 times a day. Who wouldn't like that? We get to eat some tasty deli turkey and chicken and 93/7 beef (LOVE this stuff). We even get to have hot chocolate (25 calorie swissmiss packs) on nights when we are starving and can't sleep. I'm excited about all this. I have tried to eat healthy before, but now that I have a guideline I bet I'll be more likely to stick to it and see results.

We have had a not so eventful Friday night. We took showers after dinner and then I immediately grabbed the laptop and have been reading blogs ever since and Drew has been playing video games. I have started to love reading other peoples' blogs. I love movies or books following some one's life and reading blogs is kinda the same thing in a way. I like to read blogs of stat at home mom's and newlyweds, because both are things that I will be one day. It's so cool to see all the different experiences others are going through.

We still have not booked our wedding moon trip. We are waiting for our travel agent to call us and let us know the booking prices. Drew and I are pretty much set on going to Negril, Jamaica, regardless of others' opinions...I know where ever we go will the trip of a lifetime, because it will be where we say "I DO" and I will become Mrs. Andrew Russell Jones. :D I CANNOT wait. Tomorrow will be 11 months till our wedding day. :) Then we get to move to Birmingham and play house for the rest of our lives. <3>

I'm gonna go continue to be a stalker and read other peoples' blogs. hehe Until next time! xoxo

My Body Hates Me Right Now

This is the 4th day in a row Drew and I have actually ate healthy and worked out. We are both so sore we can hardly move and it KILLS me to sit on the toilet, but hey, you have to do what you gotta do to get a tight booty. :) Although I don't feel like I look any smaller or anything, I do feel better about myself and I know results will come. We started working out with a trainer and I hope he kicks us into shape this month. My last ever volleyball season starts Aug 2nd and I want to look decent in my spandex. Drew is already showing results from working out. I hate boys for that. They can look at a treadmill and lose weight...but anyway, our next session is at 10 tomorrow morning. He is giving us our strict diet which I will post later. I'm sure it's going to be lovely. Tonight we are about to pop some pop corn (smart pop, of course) and cuddle up to watch a movie. I'm having extreme caffeine headaches. I was addicted to Coke 0 and I'm missing it badly. :/ I'll be fine though. I'll get to have one on my cheat day.

I guess that's all our "exciting" stuff for now.

I Need to Blog More

It's been a while, so I thought I would update everyone on our life lately. I've been reading blogs way more than focusing on ours! I've found some that are basically about the same stuff that mine is now and what I plan for it to be like in the future. Most of the them are blogs of SAHMs (stay at home moms) that write about their everyday life with their husband and families. Exactly what I plan for ours to be about. :)

This weekend.
We stayed at my aunts house last night along with my mom and lil sis. It was interesting, but like always, I had a great time. We got a total of two hours of sleep before we woke up at 5 a.m. We were all SO thrilled to be up that early. The reason we stayed was the huge yard sale we had this morning. We had TONS of stuff and sold a majority of it. The money Drew and I got is going straight to our savings account. I am dead set on saving money. We have had our little week or so of shopping and buying things we've been wanting, but I think it's time we get serious and start putting away money for when we move to Birmingham next year and we're on our own. We have already started being a little more independent though. We paid our first Verizon cell bill today. I am very proud of us. :] Hey, we have to start somewhere.
I got a little down earlier because I'm not the type of person who just loves to get out and do stuff, especially if tons of people are involved. I'm just not a big fan of people in general. Drew, on the other hand likes to be out and do stuff...so I feel like I hold him back sometimes, but I guess we make up for it with our date this coming Thurs night to Outback and the Eclipse movie. I AM looking forward to that. Where I was going with all of this is that instead of going to the 4th of July fireworks show we stayed at home and just got a few things done around the house. I can barely run on 2 hours of sleep and I am also feeling kinda sickly anyway, so after I get done with this post I'm taking some meds and hitting the sheets.

Health.
Ever since we got back from our beach trip it has been super hard for me to get motivated to workout or eat healthy. I have been so lazy. Not to mention that when I go to my mom or aunts they always have my favorite junk foods and my dad doesn't keep anything like that in the house, so of course I have to eat it all while I can.
I have my last volleyball season coming up in ONE month and I want it to be the best. I want to look and feel good wearing that tight uniform and spandex. With that being said, I've made a few goals and Drew is making me a workout a workout and eating plan so that I can achieve them. I think I'm going to try the reward system for a few weeks. For every week that I stick to the plan I get to reward myself with something like a pedi or new workout shorts. :) Maybe this will help me stay motivated.

Time to add a little seriousness to this post.
Along with adding a more serious approach to getting healthy, I'm also going to start a daily Bible reading. One of my lifetime goals is to read the Bible cover to cover and actually remember what I've read. I don't know how many times I've read Genesis and Revelation, but now I wanna know what's in between.

I've also been noticing that I need to appreciate my soon to be hubby more. He does so much for me and sometimes I take him for granted, but I'm going to work HARD on this, because he deserves so much better than what I give him. I have been thinking about our relationship and everything relating to it for it seems like constantly the past week or so. I get frustrated because he tells me what I need to hear and doesn't let me just get my way all the time. I know I need to him to be like that and I need to learn to appreciate that too, as hard as it may be.
Is it normal for engaged women to think about being pregnant and things like that a lot? Everywhere we go it seems like when I see clothes I think to myself, "That would be such a cute pregnant shirt" or I see little kiddies and I just get all googly eyed and drift off thinking about my little munchkins that will one day be here. I know I'm only about to be 20, and NO I do not plan on getting pregnant this young, but I have to admit I'm extremely excited about having babies. :) It will be a few years before we do though. I want to be able to travel as just us a little and save up money before we bring a little us into our family.

time for some sleepy medicine and my comfy bed. I'm going to start blogging more though, promise! :)
