Lucky Items That Found a Home

So....we were out shopping for some things for our beach trip coming up next week and we ran across a few items that we just had to buy and put up for our future home. We figured if we start now, we should have a whole bunch of stuff for our new place. :) Here are pics of the new awesome items we bought!

Little yellow juice glasses for our orange juice :]

Colorful ice cream/ mixing spoons!

cute red and lime green stone picture frames. These are being reserved for our favorite pics from our honeymoon. :P

My favorite: *white w/ colorful confetti* mixing bowls from Urban Outfitters. I have wanted them for a while. :]

Big king-sized white fluffy blanket <3

These are our favorite things we got today. They are hand crafted baskets. The one on top is for our living room and will hold our remotes & the ones on the bottom are for our bedside tables. The darker colors are his of course and the pinkish one is mine. So presh! :)

"Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Hello everyone, my name is Andrew Russell Jones. The lucky one =]. Have you ever met someone so amazing that you couldn't stop smiling? I did. The first time i ever saw her was in our English class our sophomore year of high school. I honestly can tell you that i thought she was the most beautiful thing in the world right then and there. She was so beautiful with her braces and her black Northface jacket, blue jeans, and clarks. I wanted to talk to her so bad and i had so many opportunities. I'd be the first person to class after break and she and her friend would come in right after and put their books on their desks and go back outside. I never knew what to say, and even if i did i doubt i would have said it. I had been sitting 3 seats back on the row beside her. I use to get up and turn the T.V. on everyday for channel one just to walk past her. Then about a month into the class the teacher was getting frustrated with some of the guys in the class talking so much so she made me move to the front of the row where i was 1 seat in front on the row beside her. I would turn around and talk to my new best friend behind me and honestly i would look at her every now and then. She was one of those girls that you see and you know you would give anything to be with but you knew it wasn't even worth trying. I finally got the chance to say something to her one day and i had thought about it for a while but as soon as my mouth opened i went blank. The words that came out were "nice jacket"....I was embarrassed but coincidentally I myself had on a black northface so she took it as a joke. She laughed and we never spoke again after that.
It was the summer before my junior year and this beautiful girl added me on myspace. I didn't think twice about it. I didn't have a clue who she was. A few days went by and then i had a message from her. I opened it and when i did it started a new relationship. We were just friends for a while we'd text and call eachother constantly. She was at the beach for a week when i had decided that i wanted to be more than friends and i wasn't going to settle for anything less than to call her mine. She got home on a monday and i had asked her on a date that friday night. We were going to eat at chili's and to watch the new harry potter movie. I was so nervous, i didn't really understand it because id never felt that way before. I was also embarrassed because i had just gotten my learners permit so i had to wait a few months before i got my license. So she had to drive. My mom dropped me off at chili's....yeah. How embarrassing is that. Somehow the date managed to go perfect. Besides that after the movie my mother locked her keys in the car while it was running outside of chili's. Even though that embarrassing event happened, we dated for an entire month. I had never felt so strong about a girl. I never wanted to be just friends with her and i didn't know if i could handle it. I've been her friend for 4 years now, i was her boyfriend for 4 months and 23 days, and now i've been her fiance' for 23 days 19 hours 45 minutes and 32 seconds. I love her with all my heart and soul. I live, I breathe, and I would die for her. So I'm gonna end this book because right now she's sitting across the room from me staring wondering what i'm still typing...lol I wish everyone the happyness and luck that i have.
-Andrew (future hubby)

So the story begins..

The love of my life is also my best friend. It doesn't get much better than that, right? I am recently engaged and I am going to try my best to keep everyone updated on things. Getting married and building your new life has to be one of the biggest and exciting events in a person's life and I want to share my experiences with everyone. I have never "blogged" before, so it may not be the best ever, but it's going to be fun. :-)

Andrew Russell Jones asked me to marry him on May 2, 2010. We may only be 19, but we are ready to take on whatever life has in store for the two of us. I cannot wait to change my last name and be his wife. :D My ring is BeAuTiFuL. Here is a pic of it!

We have decided to say our vows in the Caribbean. There are so many beautiful places to choose from that we still haven't picked the exact location yet. It's between Antigua and Jamaica. We have chosen to stay in a Sandals resort, but between those two islands there are 8 resorts to pick from. We met with a travel agent and she is going to be a huge help. I am overly excited to spend a week in paradise with my soon to be hubby. :)

Take a look at how amazing these resorts are!

On closer events, we only have two more days of the dreaded speech class that is required for all college students. We had to give our one and only speech yesterday and we both are sooo relieved to be done with it. Now, our focus is on our Destin trip coming up in about a week and a half. We are in need of a relaxing vaca after all the things we have had going on lately. While we are there I plan to look for a beachy wedding dress. I have some cute new bikinis and dresses and I'm ready to beach it for a week. For now, I'm going for a run. Gotta get bikini bod ready. ha

I will keep you updated!

*EDITED TO ADD:

We THOUGHT we were going to Jamaica or Antigua, but who the heck knows. We have discovered several other places since this post. I hope to have something booked around January at least.
